Zoran findet heraus, dass seine Frau Jovanka von jemand anderem schwanger geworden ist und überredet sie zu einer Abtreibung beim örtlichen Tierarzt. Jovanka macht einen geheimen Deal mit Zorans Bruder Milan und dem Tierarzt, es nicht zu tun. Zoran ermordet Jovanka, wird aber kurz darauf durch einen Schuss von Milans Sohn getötet. Viele Jahre später beschließt Milans Sohn, seinem Bruder, Zorans Sohn, die Wahrheit über die Morde zu erzählen, ohne zu wissen, dass er die ganze Zeit darüber informiert war.
