In Toronto, socially awkward Benny, who owns and operates a one man poster design, printing and hanging shop, overthinks everything leading to inaction as the moment has more often than not passed by the time he decides what he wants or should do. That's why he allows his childhood friend Autumn to live with him rent-free - he who invited her to stay temporarily in an act of compassion one year ago - instead of dealing with her idiosyncrasies (such as her assertion that she is agoraphobic, the reason she has not left the apartment or works), asking her to pay rent, or asking her to move out, which is what he really wants. That's why he hasn't asked a girl out in a long time despite wanting to be in a relationship. The woman he spies at a concert who he saw spying him back is only the latest woman he wanted to ask out, but as usual she was gone before he had the nerve to approach her. So it is somewhat providence that she, Jordan, spots him again and takes the initiative of striking up something with him. Being with Jordan makes Benny want to break out of his shell. The question then becomes whether Jordan will end up changing his life in dealing with these issues, regardless of if there is a future for them.
