Synopse

Der Film spielt in Nordirland kurz nach dem Waffenstillstand 1994. Hazel ist Protestant und Malachy Katholik. Die Romanze zwischen ihnen wird von Rohan (Anführer im militanten Untergrund und Kumpel von Malachys Bruder Padhar) bedroht, der möchte, dass Malachy rekrutiert wird und für die Sache kämpft, und von Hazels Bruder Jef, der ihre Treffen ausspioniert.
