Aditya Dhar (born 12 March 1983) is an Indian writer, director and lyricist who works in Hindi films. He made his directorial debut with Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), which was based on the 2016 Uri attack. He won the best film director Award for this film at the 66th National Film Awards in 2019. Dhar has been associated in the past with films like Kabul Express, Tezz, Aakrosh, Haal-e-Dil among others in different capacities like dialogue writer, screenplay writer and lyrics writer.
