Janet Anderson Craig Peterson (born May 3, 1937 in Strathaven, Lanarkshire, Scotland) is a Scottish-Canadian non-fiction writer, historian, artist, and journalist best known for her popular historical books about Vancouver Island, particularly those about the cities of Nanaimo and Port Alberni.
