Barry Manilow has called him, "One of the best singer-songwriters to come along since the heyday of Tin Pan Alley". In 2014 Vincent was nominated for, and won, "Best Male Vocalist" at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. He was born and raised in Berkeley, California, and for a time in Amherst, Massachusetts.
