Värttinä (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈʋærtːinæ], meaning "spindle") is a Finnish folk music band that started as a project by Sari and Mari Kaasinen in 1983 in the village of Rääkkylä, in Karelia, the southeastern region of Finland.
