Synopsis

1:58 is a short film that tells the story of a man who wakes up every night at the same time, 1:58, to find a mysterious figure standing at the foot of his bed. The man becomes increasingly paranoid and fearful as he tries to uncover the identity of the figure and the reason for its presence.

The film explores themes of fear, paranoia, and the unknown, as the man's sanity is tested and his reality begins to unravel. As the clock strikes 1:58 each night, the tension builds and the man's fear reaches a breaking point.

With a haunting score and eerie visuals, 1:58 is a psychological thriller that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

While the score attempted to create a sense of unease and tension, it often felt disconnected from the on-screen events, failing to fully immerse me in the psychological thriller experience. The music occasionally overshadowed crucial moments of suspense, diminishing their impact and leaving me feeling disconnected from the narrative.

On the other hand, while the music effectively sets the tone for the psychological thriller, at times it can feel a bit repetitive and predictable. Some tracks blend into each other without offering much variation, which can detract from the overall impact of the soundtrack.
