Synopsis

A Date for Mad Mary is a heartwarming Irish film that tells the story of Mary McArdle, a young woman who has just been released from prison after serving a six-month sentence. Mary is struggling to adjust to life on the outside and is determined to prove to her friends and family that she has changed.

When her best friend Charlene announces that she is getting married, Mary is thrilled to be asked to be her maid of honor. However, she soon realizes that she needs to find a date for the wedding in order to fit in with the other guests.

Mary's search for a date leads her to Jess, a free-spirited musician who agrees to accompany her to the wedding. As Mary and Jess spend more time together, they form a deep connection and Mary begins to see that there is more to life than just fitting in.

As the wedding day approaches, Mary must confront her past and decide what kind of future she wants for herself. A Date for Mad Mary is a touching and funny film about friendship, love, and the power of second chances.
