Synopsis

This made-for-television documentary gives fans of fantasy and adventure a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Peter Jackson's three-film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. It includes archive footage of Tolkien discussing his work, along with interviews with director Jackson and the rest of the film's cast and crew, who share their experiences working on the project, as well as discuss the special efforts that were made to see this enormous work through to completion.
