Synopsis

AC/DC: No Bull

Very much a follow up to their 1991 concert film masterpiece Live At Donington, No Bull was designed to capture the over the top spectacle that was the 1996 Ballbreaker tour. On board again was the renowned director David Mallet who once again used film to document the proceedings, this time around at the Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas bullfighting arena in Madrid, Spain. Ultimately rushed for release in 1996 for the home video market, Mallet was always unhappy with the results of the final product. Until now. The film has been completely re-edited in HD and the audio remixed in both Stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound - for the ballbreaking experience it was always meant to be.

User reviews

Joseph Evans
4/10

The rushed release of the film for the home video market may have contributed to a lack of attention to detail in the soundtrack, resulting in a subpar listening experience for fans of AC/DC.

Patricia Adams
2/10

The mixing of the audio in Stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound seemed disjointed and unbalanced, making it difficult to fully immerse oneself in the concert experience.

Melissa Martin
5/10

However, the audio quality of the original release was lacking, with some fans feeling that it did not fully capture the intensity and dynamism of AC/DC's live show. The recent re-edited version in HD and remixed audio in Stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound has greatly improved the listening experience, bringing out the nuances of the band's performance and enhancing the overall impact of the music.

James Rodriguez
7/10

The audio quality of the remixed soundtrack is top-notch, delivering a crisp and immersive listening experience in both Stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound. The revamped version truly enhances the overall impact of the music, allowing fans to feel like they are right in the middle of the Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas bullfighting arena in Madrid, Spain, where the concert was filmed.
