The ageing owner of a famous Bah Kut Teh (Pork Rib Herbal Soup or, literally, Meat Bone Tea - a local Chinese cuisine in Singapore and Malaysia) stall dies. His crippled granddaughter urges her rebellious younger brother to take over the "old-fashioned" stall. Although he is reluctant initially, the youngster eventually managed to pick up the cooking skill of his grandfather and comes up with the idea of opening a Bah Kut Teh restaurant.
