Almost Human is a thought-provoking documentary directed by the award-winning Danish director, Jeppe Rønde. In this film, Rønde has brought together 10 of the world's leading scientists along with a single robot to explore our relationship with technology.
The world-renowned comedian, actor, writer, presenter, and activist, Stephen Fry, lends his iconic voice to Rønde's visionary essay. Through Fry's narration, the film takes us on a journey to zoom out at intergalactic distance and rethink our connection with technology.
Throughout the documentary, philosophers, anthropologists, archaeologists, and physicists engage in thought experiments to demonstrate that our relationship with technology is deeply intertwined with our relationship with ourselves. As the film delves into our history and the history of technology, it challenges viewers to reflect on the dilemmas posed by technological advancements.
