Synopsis

American Ultra is a 2015 action-comedy film directed by Nima Nourizadeh. The movie follows the story of Mike Howell, a stoner who lives in a small town with his girlfriend Phoebe. Unbeknownst to Mike, he is actually a sleeper agent who was programmed by the government to be a lethal killing machine.

**One day, Mike's programming is activated by a rogue CIA agent, and he suddenly finds himself targeted for elimination. With the help of Phoebe, Mike must tap into his hidden skills and fight back against the forces that are out to get him.
