Synopsis

1916, Saint Petersburg, Russia. As malevolent sorcerer Grigory Rasputin casts a terrible spell upon the House of Romanov, Anastasia, the beloved daughter of Russia's Emperor Tsar Nicholas II, flees home with her grandmother, the Dowager Empress Czarina Maria Fyodorovna, in tow. But fate had other plans in store for them.

And almost a decade later, a band of scheming St. Petersburg con artists, Dimitri and Vladimir, stumble upon Anya, an amnesiac 18-year-old orphan. Without delay, the two swindlers groom Anya to pass off as the Empress' real granddaughter in high hopes of collecting a lucrative reward.

However, the evil spectre of the wicked wizard won't rest until he fulfils his fevered curse. Is innocent Anya doomed to take Anastasia's place?
