Synopsis

Animals with the Tollkeeper is a 1998 American drama film directed by Michael Di Jiacomo. The film follows the story of a tollkeeper who lives in a small house on the edge of a forest. He spends his days collecting tolls from travelers passing through the forest.

One day, the tollkeeper encounters a group of animals who are trying to cross the forest. The animals are unable to pay the toll, so the tollkeeper allows them to pass for free. As a result, the tollkeeper is fired from his job and forced to leave his home.
