Synopsis

Against the backdrop of a gritty black-and-white industrial landscape and towering power lines and electric poles, the creative American director, David Lynch, evokes memories of Blue Velvet (1986). Furthermore, this sculpted piece of deteriorating ant-covered cheese that resembles a head makes one also remember the American dream-pop singer Julee Cruise's second album, penned by David Lynch, The Voice of Love. Combining two tracks--Woodcutters From Fiery Ships, and Frank 2000--from Thought Gang, the esoteric music project of David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti, "Ant Head" captures ants crawling over the ominous figure of a head-like ball of cheese in one long shot. Are ants lactose intolerant?
