Synopsis

"Antiviral" is a science fiction thriller film directed by Brandon Cronenberg. The story is set in a dystopian future where people are obsessed with celebrities to the point of wanting to contract their illnesses. The protagonist, Syd March, works for a clinic that sells celebrity viruses to fans who want to experience the same illnesses as their idols. However, things take a dark turn when Syd becomes infected with a virus that is linked to a mysterious celebrity's death. As he tries to uncover the truth behind the virus, he finds himself caught in a dangerous web of conspiracy and betrayal.
