Belle Starr leads a family life in Greenview, Texas, married with Blue Duck, an American Native, and her two kids - a girl fathered by outlaw Cole Younger, and a sexually disturbed boy, son of outlaw Jim Reeves. She refuses the advances of the local preacher, though, and next thing, he presents her with a petition, signed by all the parishioners, demanding that her leaves town in a week. She refuses, and her house is burned down. She returns to Oklahoma, where she ends up by joining former friends in a big robbery.
