Synopsis

Beverly Hills Cop is a 1984 American action comedy film directed by Martin Brest. The film stars Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, a street-smart Detroit cop who travels to Beverly Hills, California to solve the murder of his best friend.

Upon arriving in Beverly Hills, Foley finds himself clashing with the local police department, who are not thrilled about his unorthodox methods. Despite this, Foley is determined to uncover the truth behind his friend's murder.
