Synopsis

Black Panther is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is directed by Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa, the king of Wakanda, who must defend his country from a powerful enemy.

The film follows T'Challa as he returns to Wakanda after the death of his father to take his place as king. However, he soon finds himself facing a new threat in the form of Erik Killmonger, a ruthless mercenary with a personal vendetta against the Wakandan royal family.

As T'Challa struggles to protect his people and maintain the peace in Wakanda, he must also confront the legacy of his father and the choices he must make to ensure the future of his nation.

Black Panther was praised for its groundbreaking representation of black superheroes and its exploration of themes such as identity, power, and responsibility. It was a critical and commercial success, earning over $1.3 billion worldwide and becoming the first superhero film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
