Synopsis

Black Sails is a television series that follows the adventures of Captain Flint and his crew as they navigate the dangerous waters of the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy. The show is set twenty years before the events of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel, Treasure Island.

As Captain Flint seeks to maintain control of his ship, the Walrus, he must contend with rival pirates, the British Navy, and a host of other threats. Along the way, he forms alliances with other notorious pirates, including the infamous Long John Silver.

The series is known for its gritty portrayal of pirate life, as well as its complex characters and intricate plot twists. With themes of power, betrayal, and redemption, Black Sails offers a fresh take on the pirate genre, blending historical fact with fictional storytelling.
