Erin's been instructed by the D.A. to take over a murder case that's being retried. The D.A. who handled it originally blames a juror who was the lone hold out. Erin goes to see the juror, and asks him why he voted the way he did, he says that there was a witness in the original report who claims that the shooter was someone else but the witness didn't testify. The other D.A. says the witness just vanished so Erin tries to find the witness who is found dead. Erin sees the defendant who convinces her he didn't do it. So Erin decides to investigate from another angle. Jamie tries to help some senior citizens who are being harassed by a gang. Jamie thinks there's something off about their M.O. Frank is being hounded by the press to answer if he will continue as commissioner. But he's evasive claiming the mayor hasn't asked him yet.
