Synopsis

"Blue Gate Crossing" is a Taiwanese coming-of-age film directed by Yee Chin-yen. The story follows two high school students, Meng Ke-rou and Lin Yuezhen, who are best friends. Ke-rou develops a crush on the school's swimming team captain, Shihao, but is too shy to confess her feelings. Yuezhen, who secretly harbors feelings for Ke-rou, decides to help her friend by setting up a plan to get Shihao's attention. However, as their plan unfolds, Yuezhen finds herself caught in a love triangle that tests the boundaries of friendship and love. The film explores themes of adolescence, friendship, and unrequited love in a heartfelt and poignant manner.
