Synopsis

Bottle Rocket is a 1996 American crime-comedy film directed by Wes Anderson. The film follows three friends, Dignan, Anthony, and Bob, who plan a series of heists in order to gain the respect of a local crime boss.

As they carry out their amateurish robberies, the trio's plans begin to unravel, leading to a series of misadventures and misunderstandings. Along the way, they encounter a variety of quirky characters and get into increasingly absurd situations.

Bottle Rocket is known for its deadpan humor, offbeat characters, and stylish cinematography. The film marked the directorial debut of Wes Anderson and helped launch the careers of actors Owen Wilson and Luke Wilson, who co-wrote the screenplay with Anderson.

Despite receiving mixed reviews upon its release, Bottle Rocket has since gained a cult following and is considered a cult classic. Its unique blend of comedy, crime, and drama has made it a favorite among fans of independent cinema.
