Synopsis

Broken Star is a psychological thriller that follows the story of Markey Marlowe, a young actress who is struggling with fame and addiction. After a public breakdown, Markey is sent to live in a sober living house where she is constantly monitored by a nurse named Daryl. As Markey tries to rebuild her life and career, she becomes increasingly paranoid and starts to suspect that Daryl is not who he claims to be.

As Markey's mental state deteriorates, she becomes more and more convinced that Daryl is out to get her. She begins to unravel the truth behind his identity and discovers a dark secret that threatens to destroy her completely.
