Synopsis

The city of Detroit, Michigan has experienced a serious decline in recent decades. Among the resulting problems is the drastic increase in fires in an urban landscape of abandoned buildings that seems to have no future. This film depicts the lives and trials of the Detroit Fire Department personnel who are on the front lines of this uphill battle. Facing constant emergencies in the face of shrinking budgets, Detroit firefighters are determined to protect the city to the best of their ability, whatever the cost.
