As Chihaya recruits members for her club, she meets Taichi Mashima, a talented and competitive student who becomes her closest ally. Together, they train tirelessly to improve their karuta skills and compete in tournaments.

Throughout the series, Chihaya faces challenges and setbacks as she strives to achieve her goal of becoming the Queen. She also navigates her complicated feelings for both Arata and Taichi, leading to a love triangle that adds drama to the story.
