"Children of God" is a novel that follows the lives of two siblings, Sarah and David, who are born into a cult called the Children of God. The cult is led by a charismatic and manipulative leader who claims to be a prophet. Sarah and David grow up in this isolated community, where they are taught to worship their leader and follow his every command.
As they get older, Sarah begins to question the teachings of the cult and the control that their leader has over their lives. She starts to rebel against the strict rules and begins to secretly plan her escape.
David, on the other hand, becomes more deeply entrenched in the cult's beliefs and becomes one of the leader's most loyal followers. He is willing to do whatever it takes to prove his devotion, even if it means sacrificing his own happiness.
As Sarah and David's paths diverge, they must confront their own beliefs and make difficult choices that will determine their futures. Will they be able to break free from the cult's grip and find their own paths, or will they be forever trapped in the Children of God?
