China O'Brien is a 1990 American action film directed by Robert Clouse. The film stars Cynthia Rothrock as the title character, a former big city cop who returns to her hometown to teach self-defense classes.
When her father, the town sheriff, is murdered by a group of criminals, China O'Brien decides to take justice into her own hands. With the help of her friends and students, she sets out to bring the criminals to justice and restore peace to her town.
China O'Brien is known for its martial arts action sequences and Rothrock's impressive fighting skills. The film was followed by a sequel, China O'Brien II, in 1991.
