Claire's Camera is a South Korean film directed by Hong Sang-soo. The story follows Claire, a school teacher who travels to Cannes for a film festival. While there, she meets Manhee, a film sales assistant who has just been fired by her boss for having an affair with a director. Claire lends Manhee her camera, which she believes has the power to change people's lives. As the two women bond over their shared experiences, they begin to see the world in a new light. Through Claire's camera, they are able to capture moments of beauty and truth that they may have otherwise missed.
