Synopsis

Sunset Park is a novel by Paul Auster that tells the story of Miles Heller, a young man who has been running away from his past for years. After abandoning his family and dropping out of college, Miles finds solace in working as a trash collector in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

However, Miles' life takes a turn when he is forced to confront his past after his father dies and he is contacted by his former girlfriend, Pilar. As he grapples with his guilt and regrets, Miles must decide whether to continue running or finally face the consequences of his actions.
