Crackerjack tells the story of Jack Wild (Thomas Ian Griffith), a Chicago cop struggling with PTSD following the tragic murder of his wife and children.
Concerned about his erratic behavior, Jack's brother and sister-in-law convince him to join them on a vacation at a remote ski resort in the Rocky Mountains.
Despite his initial resistance, Jack forms a connection with KC (Nastassja Kinski), the resort's activities coordinator.
However, their peaceful getaway is disrupted when terrorists, led by Ivan Getz (Christopher Plummer), take over the resort.
Jack soon realizes that the terrorists are connected to his family's murder and he is the only one not taken hostage.
Now, Jack must uncover the terrorists' motives, stop them, and rescue his loved ones and the other hostages.
