Synopsis

Creedmoria is a story about growing up in Queens, New York, in the 1980s, but at its core, it's about the hope of a teenage girl. Set against the backdrop of the largest mental hospital in the state, Creedmoor, we see Candy trying to survive high school, a psycho boyfriend, an overbearing mother, a jerk boss, a brother dealing with a drug addiction and another struggling with her sexual identity, all while fitting in and holding out as much hope as possible. This moving film is the story of how she is.
