Synopsis

CrissCross is a story about Lt. John Cross, a decommissioned bomber pilot from the Vietnam War, who moved his family to Key West, Florida after being emotionally scarred by a specific event in the war. He abandoned his family to live in a monastery to cleanse his soul.

Now in the summer of 1969, life for his wife, Tracy Cross, and their twelve-year-old son, Chris Cross, revolves around the Eden Hotel where they live. Tracy works as a waitress during the day to reduce their rent, dreaming of saving enough money to buy a house and move out of the hotel.

Chris, who misses his father and hopes for his return, takes on odd jobs to help achieve Tracy's dream. Tracy, against her own morals, takes on a job as a stripper to earn more money. Their lives become even more complicated as Chris experiences his first crush, Tracy's romantic interest is piqued by a man named Joe, and Chris stumbles upon a risky financial opportunity.
