Dead Calm is a psychological thriller film that follows the story of a couple, Rae and John, who are grieving the loss of their son in a tragic car accident. In an attempt to heal, they decide to embark on a sailing trip on their yacht.
During their journey, they come across a drifting boat with a young man, Hughie, on board. He tells them that his boat was damaged in a storm and his companions died. John decides to board the boat to help Hughie, leaving Rae alone on their yacht.
As John is away, Rae discovers that Hughie is not who he claims to be and that he is actually a dangerous and unstable man. She must now find a way to outsmart him and save herself before it's too late.
Dead Calm is a tense and suspenseful film that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats as Rae fights for survival against a cunning and ruthless adversary.
