Synopsis

Delirium

In a world where love is considered a disease, Lena Haloway eagerly awaits her 18th birthday when she will undergo the procedure to be cured of amor deliria nervosa. However, everything changes when she meets Alex, a boy who makes her question everything she has been taught.

As Lena falls in love with Alex, she begins to see the flaws in the society she lives in and starts to rebel against the strict rules that govern her life. Together, they embark on a dangerous journey to escape the city and find a place where they can be free to love without fear.

But as they get closer to their goal, Lena realizes that the consequences of their actions are more severe than she ever imagined. Will she be able to overcome the obstacles in her way and find true love, or will she be forced to conform to the society's rules?

On the other hand, while the soundtrack effectively sets the mood for the dystopian world of Delirium, it lacks diversity in its musical styles. The repetitive use of similar motifs and instrumentation can make some scenes feel monotonous and fail to fully engage the audience on an emotional level. More variety in the soundtrack could have added depth and richness to the overall listening experience.

Karen Garcia

The emotional depth of the music resonates with the themes of love, rebellion, and self-discovery portrayed in the film, enhancing the overall viewing experience.
