Synopsis

Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood is a heartwarming story about the bond between a group of lifelong friends known as the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. The story follows Siddalee Walker, a successful playwright who is estranged from her mother, Vivi, due to a traumatic childhood incident.

When Siddalee gives an interview in which she discusses her troubled relationship with her mother, Vivi's friends, the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, take matters into their own hands. They kidnap Siddalee and bring her to their Louisiana hometown to uncover the divine secrets of their sisterhood and heal the rift between mother and daughter.
