Synopsis

Dr. Heckyl and Mr. Hype is a 1980 American comedy horror film directed by Charles B. Griffith. The film follows the story of Dr. Heckyl, a kind and well-respected doctor who creates a potion that transforms him into the evil and hedonistic Mr. Hype.

As Dr. Heckyl, he is a beloved figure in his community, known for his kindness and generosity. However, when he drinks his potion, he becomes Mr. Hype, a sinister and depraved character who indulges in all sorts of vices.

As Mr. Hype, he wreaks havoc on the town, causing chaos and destruction wherever he goes. Dr. Heckyl must find a way to stop his alter ego before it's too late.

The film is a darkly comedic take on the classic Jekyll and Hyde story, with a unique twist that explores the duality of human nature.
