Synopsis

Duck Season is a movie about two fourteen-year-old best friends, Flama and Moko, who are spending a boring Sunday together in an apartment without parents. They have everything they need for the day: videogames, porn magazines, soft drinks, and pizza delivery.

However, their day takes an unexpected turn when various characters and events disrupt their plans. The electricity company, Rita the neighbor, Ulises the pizza deliveryman, eleven seconds, the Real Madrid-Manchester game, some chocolate brownies, and a horrible painting of ducks all come together to break the harmony of their day.

As the day unfolds, issues such as the parents' divorce, loneliness, confusion between adolescent love and friendship, and frustration in adult life are revealed. Duck Season shows that even in the midst of chaos, there is still a chance to see the stars when the lights go off.
