Synopsis

Eastbound & Down is a comedy series that follows the story of Kenny Powers, a former professional baseball pitcher who is forced to return to his hometown after his career comes to an abrupt end.

Struggling to adjust to life outside of the spotlight, Kenny takes on a job as a substitute physical education teacher at his old middle school. Despite his arrogant and self-destructive behavior, Kenny is determined to make a comeback and reclaim his former glory.

As he navigates through the challenges of small-town life and tries to revive his career, Kenny must confront his past mistakes and learn to be a better person. With the help of his loyal friends and family, Kenny embarks on a journey of self-discovery and redemption.
