Synopsis

Edge of Heaven is a heartwarming story about love, loss, and redemption. The film follows the lives of three different couples whose paths intersect in unexpected ways.

Ali and Ayse are a young Turkish couple who run a bakery in Germany. Their relationship is put to the test when Ali's mother arrives unexpectedly, bringing with her a dark secret from the past.

Meanwhile, Nejat is a German professor who travels to Istanbul to search for the daughter of his deceased lover. Along the way, he meets a young prostitute named Yeter, who becomes an unlikely companion on his journey.

Lastly, Susanne is a German woman who is grieving the loss of her husband. She decides to travel to Turkey to find closure and ends up forming a bond with a young girl named Aylin, who is searching for her own sense of belonging.
