Synopsis

On Electronic Awakening, director Andrew Johner lifts the veil on an underground spiritual movement that has developed within electronic music cultures around the world. This close encounter with rave mysticism questions the origin of religion and offers a glimpse into the future of man's spirituality. He investigates the importance of this culture to the prophecies of 2012, and how this strange and sacred relationship with electronic music has evolved the group over time and where it seems to be leading.
