Synopsis

Enemies, A Love Story is a story about a man named Herman Broder who is living in New York City in the 1940s. He is a Holocaust survivor who is struggling to come to terms with his past and his present. Herman is married to a woman named Yadwiga, who is a Polish Catholic woman who saved him during the war. However, Herman is also having an affair with another woman named Masha, who is a passionate and fiery woman. As if that wasn't complicated enough, Herman's first wife, Tamara, who he thought had died in the Holocaust, suddenly reappears in his life. Now, Herman must navigate the complexities of his relationships with these three women, all while trying to find peace and happiness in a world that is still haunted by the horrors of the past.
