Fame - Der Weg zum Ruhm

Synopsis

Fame follows one class at the High School for the Performing Arts in New York City, from the auditions to graduation four years later, the featured students spanning the drama, music and dance programs.

The auditions are only the first hurdle as they not only have to maintain a high standard in their specialty, but also demonstrate proficiency over a range within their program i.e. other genres, other musical instruments, etc.

They also have to maintain a passing grade in their academic subjects, something that some of the students didn't anticipate.

Beyond having enough talent to pass the auditions, the students are a diverse group, each working on his or her own motivation and end goal, which is not always to reach fame in their chosen field.
