Family Comes First Soundtrack (2005)

Synopsis

Vidyadhar Patwardhan lives a middle-class life with his wife, Sumitra. They have a son, Amar, who lives abroad in London, UK, and it is through his income that the family continues to live. Amar then returns home with Jenny Mayer, his fiancée, and they are both welcomed. Both do not look kindly on Amar's drinking habit. While the parents are busy preparing for a surprise birthday party for Amar, Amar kills himself in a fight. A devastated Vidyadhar and Sumitra arrange his funeral and thereafter follow up with the police about the conviction of the killer, who has been identified as Harshvardhan Kadam. The police version is quite different from Vidyadhar's, and they claim that Amar and Jenny were involved in drug smuggling, a fight ensued and Amar was killed. Later, two men are murdered in a police encounter, after confessing that they had killed Amar in a fight over drugs. Jenny is then arrested for drug possession and placed in a cell.
