Synopsis

"Farewell Amor" is a film that tells the story of an Angolan immigrant named Walter who has been living in New York for 17 years. After being separated from his family due to immigration laws, Walter is finally able to bring his wife Esther and daughter Sylvia to join him in the United States. However, the reunion is not as smooth as he had hoped. The family must navigate their new life together while dealing with the emotional baggage of their past separation. As they try to reconnect and find their place in this new world, they must confront the challenges of communication, cultural differences, and the secrets they have been keeping from each other. Through their struggles and triumphs, they learn the true meaning of family and the power of love."
