Five Days One Summer Soundtrack (1982)

Synopsis

Five Days One Summer is set in a Swiss Alpine village in the 1930's. A middle-aged man, portrayed by Sean Connery, and a young girl, played by Betsy Brantley, are on a climbing holiday and are deeply in love.

However, there are complications. Apart from the age difference between them, the young girl has a history of mental instability, while the man is unhappily married to a priggish wife.

Adding to the drama is the handsome young Alpine guide, portrayed by Lambert Wilson, who joins them on their mountain excursions. He becomes infatuated with Miss Brantley and tries to win her affections away from Connery.

The tension escalates when Connery, in a desperate attempt to prove himself against his younger rival, embarks on a dangerous climb with him. An avalanche occurs, and only one man returns...
