Synopsis

Florence Foster Jenkins is a biographical comedy-drama film directed by Stephen Frears. The film tells the story of Florence Foster Jenkins, a wealthy socialite in New York City who aspires to become an opera singer despite having a terrible singing voice.

Florence is supported in her pursuit by her husband, St. Clair Bayfield, and her pianist, Cosmé McMoon. Despite her lack of talent, Florence manages to secure a performance at Carnegie Hall, where her singing is met with mixed reviews.
