Synopsis

"Forbidden Homework" is a Mexican film that tells the story of a young boy named Zequi who is given a homework assignment by his teacher to write an essay about his family. However, Zequi comes from a dysfunctional family and is embarrassed to share the truth with his classmates. Instead, he decides to make up a story about his family being perfect and happy.

As Zequi continues to fabricate details about his family, he becomes more and more entangled in his lies. Eventually, his teacher becomes suspicious and decides to visit Zequi's home to meet his family. Zequi panics and enlists the help of his friends to create a fake family for the teacher to meet.
